Muriel Thelma Lewis’s legacy of giving back lives on in her great grandchildren. Several of them helped prepare and give out food to the men of the Skyway Men’s Shelter in Queens, New York on April 23rd. The date holds extra significance because it was the second anniversary of Lewis’ passing. Volunteers recall how grateful the men were to receive a hot meal that consisted of traditional West Indian food.
